I want to be a tree when I die.

I have always thought cemeteries and burials were strange.
I am not exactly sure why.

Maybe it is just personal.
Maybe I personally do not want my body to be contained in a box with a stone representing my body.

Initially, before I saw this urn, I wanted my body to be buried in a forest without any gravestone, only a tree be planted above my body.

When I saw Martin Azua's urn, it made so much sense, and I am surprised that I did not think of that myself.

The urn is biodegradable. The point of the urn is to use the ashes of your body to nourish the seeds of a tree. This makes so much sense to me. When you compare this urn to the traditional burial/cemetery the difference is literally life and death. Instead of seeing a field of stones that ultimately represent death, you would see a field of trees, a field of life.
