Meteorite 2

This is a recent encounter.

On October 8th at 8:00p.m. EST I was driving on Fountain St. in Kitchener Ontario.
My good friend was sitting in my passenger seat.
He pointed out what he initially thought was a shooting star.
I didn't see it at first because my rear-view mirror was in the way.

I knew it wasn't a shooting star. I had time to look around the mirror and still have enough time to see it.
It was a yellow light.
That yellow light broke apart in two sections and flew the same distance it did when it was together.

I dropped my good friend off at his house and proceded to go home.
I turned on the radio a few minutes later and heard the host talk about what fell from the sky.
Some people said it was a satellite, others said it was a meteor.

This wasn't as recorded as my first experience was so I never actually found out what it was.
Bummer.
